Baker police deployed their Special Response Team and Crisis Negotiation Team Sunday morning to an apartment on Seville Avenue where a man had barricaded himself inside with  a  gun.

Police Chief Mike Knaps said in a news release that negotiators were able to talk the subject out without incident.

The man’s sister called police at about 11:31 a.m. stating her brother had barricaded himself inside the apartment and was armed with a .380 pistol.

More information will be available Monday morning, Knaps said.

I totally agree with u Stephanie. nobody wants to see their loved one hurt. Sometimes life can get to be a little over bearing but for those who are not as strong, God gives them strong families, his sister did the right thing, besides that is also the police job. *to protect and serve* in all instances.
