Police seize marijuana plants in Zachary

ZACHARY — Police seized five marijuana plants worth an estimated $5,000 during a raid at a McHost Road residence Friday night.

Police Capt. David McDavid said the plants are about 4 feet tall. Officers also seized a quantity of marijuana prepared for use.

Police did not make any arrests in the case but plan to obtain several arrest warrants as a result of the raid, McDavid said.
