Video voyeurism suspect arrested
A 21-year-old man accused of videotaping an LSU student without her permission while having sex with her was arrested Wednesday.
Frederick Devon Jones allegedly videotaped the 19-year-old student around 1 a.m. April 17 in a room at the Phi Delta Theta fraternity house at 23 Dalrymple Drive, the arrest warrant says.
At one point, Jones picked up the camera so the woman could see it, the warrant says. She reacted by saying, “Oh no, no, put it away now.”
LSU Police Detective David Heroman said Jones is a former LSU student who is not enrolled this semester and has not graduated.
Jones, 1436 Lake Ridge Drive, was booked into Parish Prison on a count of video voyeurism.

He fired the shots from a vehicle because he was upset about not being able to find a man who had robbed his friend, the warrant says.
Anderson, 5771 San Juan Drive, was booked into Parish Prison on five counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count each of illegal use of a weapon and simple criminal damage to property.
