Early morning crash kills 41-year-old man
A 41-year-old man died in an early morning traffic accident Wednesday after his 1998 Ford Expedition overturned in the 2500 block of Badley Road, police said.
Paramedics rushed James Daniel Jones, 5925 Robinson Road, to Earl K. Long Regional Medical Center, where he died, police spokesman Capt. Lazarus Turner said.
Traffic investigators believe the wreck involved only one vehicle, Turner said.
Two passengers in the vehicle were injured in the wreck and released at the scene, police spokesman Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said.
Investigators were not able to determine why Jones lost control of the vehicle, McKneely said.
