N.O. gunmen shoot 3-year-old in car

NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans police say a 3-year-old boy was shot by a gang of gunmen who surrounded his grandmother’s car when she tried to back up on a New Orleans street.

Police say the boy was listed in good condition at Children’s Hospital, with a wound in his arm and a graze on his chest.

They say five to 10 gunmen surrounded and shot at the car. The incident occurred in front of an apartment complex, shortly before 9 p.m. on Christmas Day.
