Waste Management of Louisiana and Woodside Landfill presented a $5,000 donation to Keep Livingston Beautiful to help the organization continue to clean up litter.

“This generous donation will go a long way toward helping Keep Livingston Beautiful sustain our clean up programs across the parish,” said Lynda Gardner, Keep Livingston Beautiful executive director.

Waste Management also partners with Keep America Beautiful on different national programs, including community beautification grants and as a national sponsor for Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program.

Waste Management has donated funds to beautify the grounds of North Corbin Junior High and Gray’s Creek Elementary, and to plant 20 cypress trees in Denham Springs along the public entrance to the Bass Pro Shop  — one of the area’s largest tourist attractions.
