GREENSBURG — A St. Francisville woman died in St. Helena Parish on Sunday evening after the car she was driving went off La. 43 and twice rolled end over end, State Police reported Monday.
Angela C. Roberts, 40, was driving southbound when her 1990 Buick LeSabre went into a ditch, hit a culvert and began rolling over shortly before 5:05 p.m., troopers said in a statement. The St. Helena Parish Coroner’s Office pronounced her dead at the scene, troopers said.
Roberts was not wearing her seat belt. Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash, which happened about 1.7 miles north of La. 10, troopers said. Blood samples were taken for analysis, troopers said.
