BRAC to make project announcement Wednesday
Orion Instruments, an 8-year-old Baton Rouge company that makes industrial monitoring devices, will announce its expansion in a Wednesday announcement with the Baton Rouge Area Chamber.
Located in the Industriplex area between Interstate 10 and Airline Highway, Orion employs 70 people now at an 18,000-square-foot facility and is a subsidiary of Illinois-based Magnetrol International.
Mayor-President Kip Holden, Gov. Bobby Jindal and BRAC President Adam Knapp will announce details of the company’s expansion in a 1 p.m. Wednesday press conference with Orion officials.
