Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been chosen to provide program management services for the new $1.2 billion LSU Academic Medical Center in mid-town New Orleans.

Projected at 1.6 million square feet, this state-of-the-art medical center will replace public hospital facilities lost to Hurricane Katrina and is on a site adjacent to the planned new Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. The project will include a 424-bed hospital, ambulatory care facility, 1,350 space parking structure and central plant facilities.
