Former auditor Kyle named Southern Star CFO

New Orleans-based Southern Star Amusement Inc. has appointed former Louisiana Legislative Auditor Dan Kyle as its new chief financial officer.
Southern Star has a licensing agreement with Nickelodeon, under which the New Orleans firm plans to build a water and theme park in eastern New Orleans that would replace the former Six Flags facility, closed since Hurricane Katrina.
Kyle will lead Southern Star's finance and administration team, oversee all company accounting practices, direct its financial strategy and prepare budgets, financial reports, taxes and audits.
