Colby Cypriano has been named director of compliance at Horizon Wealth Management. She was previously a compliance associate. 

Fran Gladden has been named vice president, governmental and public affairs at Cox Communications and is responsible for the Baton Rouge and Lafayette markets. She was previously undersecretary of the Louisiana Department of Economic Development. Also, Michael Glorioso has been named director of accounting for all Cox Louisiana markets, including Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans. He was previously business operations manager at Cox’s Hampton Roads, Va., system. 

Lisa Winslow has been named assistant vice president of nursing at Ochsner Medical Center-Baton Rouge. She will manage the facility’s nursing staff and nursing initiatives. Winslow was previously regional vice president of clinical operations at Matria Healthcare Inc. in Atlanta. 

The Young Leaders Academy of Baton Rouge Inc. has elected new officers. They are: Jan R. Breen, director of public relations and marketing at Catholic High School, president; David Bondy, CEO of LUBA Worker’s Comp, vice president; Kimberly H. LaMotte, community volunteer, secretary; Jason Droddy, Chancelor’s Office at LSU, treasurer; and Matthew T. Butler, vice president at The Shaw Group, immediate past president. 

Chris Gautreau has been named senior public relations writer for the Baton Rouge and New Orleans locations of Zehnder Communications. Gautreau was previously a business writer for The Advocate. 

Justin Mascaro has been named creative director for K-fx2 inc., a conceptual design studio. He was previously served as lead designer. 

Chad Becnel, Kelly Hidalgo and Bonnie Hunt have been named directors at Postlethwaite and Netterville. They were previously associate directors. Director is a shareholder position. 

Melanie Mabile Mulcahy of Metairie has been named section chairwoman of the Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. Other officers are: Alainna R. Mire of Alexandria, chair-elect; Shayna L. Sonnier, Lake Charles, secretary; and Valerie Briggs Bargas, Baton Rouge, immediate past chair. Mulcahy is with The Derbes Law Firm. Mire is assistant attorney for the city of Alexandria. Sonnier is with Hunter and Blazier. Bargas is in Seale, Smith, Zuber and Barnette law firm. Members of the 2009-2010 YLS council include: District 3: Maggie Trahan Simar, St. Martinsville. District 5: Kyle A. Ferachi and Christopher K. Jones, both of Baton Rouge; and at-large representative Franchesca L. Hamilton-Acker, Lafayette.
