St. Francisville resident Leonard Sullivan today bought 21 lots in The Bluffs development during the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s auction of property seized for non-payment of property taxes.

Sullivan paid $14,264 for the lots, which were owned by Bluffs Management LLC, chief civil deputy Charlene Rachal said. The total included the back taxes owed, interest and costs incurred.

Bluffs Management has three years to redeem the property, Rachal said. In order to do so, the company will have to pay back Sullivan, pay a 5 percent penalty and 1 percent interest per month.

Twenty of the lots are in Savannah Square, phase 1, and the other lot is in Sunrise Village, Rachal said.
