Lane Regional Medical Center’s will open its 4,000-square-foot outpatient diagnostic center Monday at the main plaza at 6550 Main St. in Zachary.

The center will feature more rapid outpatient registration and services for lab, imaging and EKG. Services include blood draw, urine collection, drug screen collection, X-ray, CT scan, ultrasound, mammogram and bone density.

The $9 million Lane Medical Plaza totals 63,000 square feet and is the first three-story building in Zachary.

The second floor is currently under construction and will house several more doctors’ offices over a five-year period. Lane’s information systems department will move into the third floor this summer, with the rest remaining a shell until future plans are finalized.

One of the largest employers in Zachary, Lane Regional Medical Center is a 137-bed acute care hospital with a local investment of more than 750 staff members and 100 physicians.
