Thomas LaPorte has been named vice president of marketing at Wright & Percy Insurance. He was a property and casualty producer, specializing in construction contracting and professional liability insurance for oral surgeons. 

Bank of Zachary has named Larry Bellard as chief financial officer; Laura Steen as vice president and senior administrative officer; and Melinda White as vice president of loan operations/compliance officer. Bellard was vice president and cashier. Steen was operations and security officer. White was loan operations supervisor. 

Dr. N. Joseph Deumite, of Louisiana Cardiology Associates in Baton Rouge, and Dr. John G. Burvant, an orthopedic surgeon with the Pontchartrain Bone and Joint Clinic in Metairie, have been appointed to the board of directors of LAMMICO, a physician-run provider of medical malpractice insurance. Deumite will continue as a member of the claims committee. Burvant will continue to serve on the underwriting committee. 

Michael B. McDuff has been named executive director of the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors. He was executive director of the Baton Rouge Growth Coalition and had served as executive director of the Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors.
