BR mortgage tech firm linked to software
A Baton Rouge-based online mortgage firm said its processing service has been integrated with Calyx Point Software, which is used by nearly 70 percent of mortgage brokers.
MTG Processor LLC now is one of three mortgage processing providers built into the Calyx software. Calyx creates electronic loan origination files for customers, and MTG’s back-end software — ATLOS — allows third-party providers such as appraisers, inspectors and credit providers to work in a paperless loan management system.
MTG launched its service this year and has 20 mortgage company customers across the country. Calyx, which charges an initial integration fee and monthly fees, will give MTG access to many more, said Randall Nachman, MTG’s chief executive.
“We feel like just putting our product in front of 300,000 to 400,000 Calyx users is a great value as far as marketing,” he said. “It is well-worth the integration fee and the monthly fee because it adds validity to our business.”
MTG operates in the Louisiana Technology Park, using the Network Technology Group’s servers there to operate its online loan service.
