Auten named to Alzheimer's post

<li>Barbara W. Auten has been named executive director of Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area. She was development director.
<li>Krista Dettman, of Wright & Percy, has been installed as president of the Baton Rouge chapter of Executive Women International.
Also installed were Rose Wilson, YMCA, vice president; Pamela Thorning, Baton Rouge Duplicating Products, secretary; Alexis Luker, PPC Mechanical Seals, treasurer/sergeant-at-arms; Leah Frederic, Excel, ways and means director; Susie Furr, Phelps Dunbar, program co-director/assistant chair; Kelsey Funes, Phelps Dunbar, program co-director; Dianna Braud, Safety Council of LA Capital Area, publications director; and Lauren Champagne, Excel, reading rally chair.

<li>Jason T. Rash, of KPMG’s Baton Rouge office, has been admitted into the partnership of the U.S. firm. Rash provides audit services to industrial markets clients. He joined KPMG in 1998.

<li>Kevin Latiolais, of Youngsville, has been named first vice president at Lafayette-based MidSouth Bank. Latiolais served as vice president/commercial loan officer.

<li>Ochsner Health System announced that Dr. Robert Hart has been named regional medical director for Ochsner’s Baton Rouge region and Dr. Ralph Dauterive was named vice president of medical affairs for Ochsner Medical Center-Baton Rouge.
Hart is a primary care physician, certified in internal medicine and pediatrics.
Dauterive heads the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Health Center.

<li>Preston L. Kennedy, president of the Bank of Zachary, was elected to the board of directors of the Independent Community Bankers of America.

<li>The Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations has named:
Phyllis Phillips as director of operations. She was coordinator for management information systems at Catholic Charities Diocese of Baton Rouge.
Kellie Chavez Greene as director of development. She was an independent consultant and owner of Organizational Solutions Inc.
Maria Mathews as budget analyst for the Louisiana Budget Project, a LANO initiative. She recently completed her master’s degree at LSU.
Martis Jones as vice president of public policy. She was vice president for the Community Solutions Institute, a LANO initiative.
Pat Allen as director of finance. She was LANO’s accountant.
Jawan Ross as statewide director of capacity building. She was statewide training coordinator.

<li>Jorge Pullin, of LSU, was named to the General Council of the American Physical Society, the main governing body of the professional organization of physicists.
Pullin is the Horace C. Hearne Jr. Professor of Physics & Astronomy and interim co-director of the Center for Computation and Technology at LSU.

<li>Daniel Rosenquist, of Baton Rouge’s Department of Public Works, has been elected president of the Louisiana Engineering Society’s Baton Rouge chapter.
Other officers are Geoff Wilson, Sigma Consulting Group, president-elect; Jim Ferguson, of Baton Rouge’s DPW, vice president; Robert Isemann, AFJM Consultants, secretary-treasurer; and directors Mickey Robertson, SJB Group, and Catherine Flarity, E.I. Sigma Consulting Group.

<li>R.A. “Ronnie” Rabalais has been named construction services and real estate division manager at SJB Group LLC. He was manager of the construction services department.

<li>Dr. N. Joseph Deumite, of Louisiana Cardiology Associates, was appointed to the board of directors of LAMMICO, a medical malpractice insurer owned by its policyholders. Deumite will continue to serve as a member of the claims committee.
