Hancock Bank of Louisiana has named five new vice presidents of the company. They are: Yvonne Jones Campbell, branch manager, Brownsfield; Christi K. Cutrer, branch manager, Coursey; Jonathan Myers, manager, working capital finance; Billy Price, manager special assets; and Pat L. Richardson, branch manager, Burnside.
Liz Duran Swinford, associate superintendent of Human Resources for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, has been elected Region 5 representative to the American Association of School Personnel Administrators’ executive board. The AASPA is an international organization that promotes effective human resource practices within education.
Don Phillips has been named vice president of engineering operations at ENGlobal’s Baton Rouge office. He was previously manager of projects. Phillips succeeds Chelsae Knight, who retired Oct. 31.
Richard Vlosky has been re-elected as leader for the Team of Specialists on Forest Products Markets and Marketing under the joint United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Timber Committee/UN Food and Agriculture Organization European Forestry Commission. He is director of the Louisiana Forest Products Development Center, School of Renewable Natural Resources, LSU AgCenter
Laura Begnaud has been named director of physician relations and education at Promise Hospital of Baton Rouge and Promise Hospital of Ascension. Begnaud was previously a clinical liaison.
The E.J. Ourso College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council recently named new chairs to two of its five standing committees. William Slaughter has been named co-chair of the Louisiana Business Building Oversight Committee. He is the founder of SSA Consultants, an organizational development and management consulting firm. Gerard “Jerry” Jolly has been named chair of the newly formed Globalization Committee. He is a managing partner for KPMG’s Baton Rouge office. LBBOC is helping with design and private donations in development of the new home for the E.J. Ourso College of Business.
Donnie Zachary, director of operations at Louisiana Aircraft, has been inducted into the Avitat Council. The Avitat Council is a steering group of ExxonMobil Avitat network members whose role is to provide guidance for industry growth.
Kristin Hebert has been named senior project manager/support engineer at Accel in Lafayette. Hebert previously managed the day to day operations for the company in Baton Rouge .
Martin R. Ferron has been named chief executive officer of Chet Morrison Contractors and its affiliates. Ferron has also been elected a director of the company. Ferron was previously president, chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors of Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc. Chet Morrison, founder of the company, will assume the title of executive chairman. Chet Morrison Contractors, Inc. with corporate headquarters in Houma provides construction services both inland and offshore.
Judy Walker has been named business manager at the LSU Stephenson Disaster Management Institute. She was previously assistant director/business manager of Contracted Auxiliary Services.
Jennifer Simler has been named director of marketing at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. She was previously a senior account director for Propaganda Inc., an advertising agency in St. Louis.
