Hannis T. Bourgeois, certified public accountants, has made personnel  changes.
Don J. McLean has been named senior manager in the Denham Springs office. He was previously manager.

Gary Burkett has been named agency manager at American Gateway Insurance Agency. He was previously an insurance analyst with OMNI Group.

American Gateway Insurance Agency is a subsidiary of American Gateway Bank.

Deidre Toups has been named president of HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company. She was previously senior vice president overseeing operational and administrative functions.

HB Rentals provides on-site accommodations and operates from global hubs, including one  in Broussard.

John Walters has been named director of governmental relations for the Louisiana Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors.  He was previously a Louisiana Legislature staff member for four House speakers.

Clark Cossé has been re-elected chairman of the Louisiana Patient’s Compensation Fund Oversight Board. He is chief governmental officer and general counsel of the Louisiana Hospital Association.

The board manages the fund that pays claims of patients injured in medical malpractice cases.

Ellen McDowell has been named manager of Yvonne Kelleher’s Rug Place. She was an interior designer with Perspectives Interiors and an adjunct faculty member at LSU.

Sara Huval has been named senior vice president at MidSouth Bank. She was previously vice president and is director of human resources at the bank’s holding company headquartered in Lafayette.

Teri G. Fontenot, Women’s Hospital’s president and CEO, has been  elected to the Health Forum Inc. board of directors.
The forum is a for-profit company in Chicago, Ill., that functions as a data provider, publisher, and convener of health-care leaders.

Charlotte A. Frugé has been named director of economic development initiatives at ADVANCE Baton Rouge, an education nonprofit organization. She was previously associate director of foundation relations in the Office of Corporate, Foundation and Research Relations at the LSU Office of Research and Economic Development.

Frugé will examine Baton Rouge economic development initiatives and open schools that will provide a pipeline of educated and skilled workers to specific business sectors.
