The 3 p.m. program will recognize breast cancer patients in the area.
Council sets meeting times
Beginning Thursday, all regular Parish Council meetings will start at 6 p.m.
The time change will bring council meetings, which have traditionally started at 7 p.m., in line with most parish committee meetings, which typically start at 6 p.m., Council Chairman Pat Bell said.
The time change will go into effect with the Nov. 5 council meeting in Donaldsonville. The council’s second meeting of month, on the third Thursday, is at the Ascension Courthouse Annex in Gonzales.
After the time change, all council meetings will continue to be televised live on Ascension Channel 21.
