Football league has completed second week

The Gonzales Youth Flag Football League has competed two weeks of play, puttingit almost half-waythrough in its five-week season, league director Mark Peters said.
In the 5-7-year-old division, the White Team defeated the Gold Team, 25-14, in the June 25 game.
In other action, the 8-10-year-old White Team beat the Gold Team 40-0 and the 11-13-year-old Gold Team down the White Team, 18-12.
The league’s games are played on Saturdays next to Spartan Stadium on Burnside Road in Gonzales.
