The volunteers will meet at Louisiana Square in Donaldsonville to get their assignments to one of the seven cemeteries in the city limits, according to Brimmer.
The group will return to Louisiana Square at 11 a.m. for a memorial service honoring veterans killed in combat.
The public is invited to attend the service, which will feature guest speaker Donaldsonville Mayor Leroy Sullivan.
