Ascension coach will be official in Greece

Ascension Titans Wrestling Club coach Cody Hesser was selected by an international wrestling group to serve as an official at an international competition in Greece this summer.
“Cody is recognized by the U.S. Olympic committee as well as many other governing boards as an outstanding referee who frequently is requested to travel around the world to officiate at major competitions,” Titans head coach Phil Bode said.
Hesser, an art teacher at Gonzales Middle School, returned recently from Las Vegas where he was a referee at the U.S. Olympic Wrestling Trials.
