FEATURING: A day of family activities related to ancient Egypt. Enter the tomb and see the mummy, have your name written in hieroglyphics, smell the fragrances of ancient Egypt and view the film “Mysteries of the Nile” in the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium.
ADMISSION: $6 for museum, $8 with planetarium; $5 and $7 for children under 12 and seniors over 65. Special group rates available.

Museum announces findings on mummy
The tests have been run and the results are in. Plenty is now known about a mummy at the Louisiana Arts and Science museum. The museum has had the mummy in its possession for more than 40 years, but it wasn't until this week they fully unwrapped its secrets.
