Train wreck closes North Foster Drive

A train wreck near the intersection of North Foster Drive and Choctaw Drive has closed down part of North Foster Drive but resulted in no serious injuries, Baton Rouge Police said Tuesday.
North Foster Drive is closed between Choctaw Drive and Adams Avenue and will remain closed for an indefinite amount of time while the accident is investigated, Cpl. L’Jean McKneely Jr., a Baton Rouge Police spokesman, said at about 5 p.m.
He said there were few details available about the accident except that a train struck a car.
“There are no serious injuries,” McKneely said. “That’s about all I know at this point.”
