Baton Rouge-based Soco Plastics LLC, doing business as Geoshield, has opened its second distribution center for ceramic solar-control window films in Saudi Arabia.
Based in the Louisiana Business & Technology Center’s small business incubator, Geoshield makes and distributes architectural window film that reduces glare and heat and saves energy. Among its installations is LSU’s Tiger Stadium, where luxury suites are protected from the setting sun.
Geoshield’s latest office in Saudi Arabia is in Al-Hasa. The company also has distributors in Malaysia, Canada and South America.
