La. center offers $50,000 planning grants
The Baton Rouge-based Center for Planning Excellence will grant $50,000 in planning assistance to four Louisiana communities, using money CPEX gained from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Municipalities, parishes and American Indian tribes in Louisiana are eligible to obtain CPEX assistance for land-use, redevelopment, neighborhood, downtown, corridor and transit plans.
Applications must be received by March 12 via mail or hand-delivery to: Camille Manning-Broome, director of planning; Center for Planning Excellence; 402 N. 4th St.; Baton Rouge LA 70802. E-mail camille@c-pex.org for application information.
