KeyPoint Federal Credit Union will expand next year in Ascension parish with the construction of a new branch in Prairieville at 14154 Highway 73, about one mile east of Interstate 10.

A groundbreaking will be held at 9 a.m. Dec. 17. A current leased office location in Prairieville will close when the new larger building opens.

“KeyPoint is committed to providing its members with quality service at each convenient community-based office. Our expansion in Ascension Parish is an indication of the commitment we have to our members there,” said KeyPoint President and CEO Ray Smith

The new 3,000-square-foot facility will be built in an antebellum-style and feature modern conveniences, including drive-through services and free ATM access.

KeyPoint, in business for 55 years, manages five branches in the Baton Rouge area.
