Sheriff offers reward for burglary suspect

The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office is offering a $500 reward to anyone with information leading directly to the capture of Charles Richard Jr., deputies said Monday.
Richard, 18, 115 Pugh St., Paincourtville, is wanted on a count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling in connection with an incident in October, deputies said in a news release.
Anyone with information about Richard’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (985) 526-1627 or (985) 369-2912.
