Iota-Long Point Gravity Drainage District proposition
To renew a 10-year, 5-mill property tax, generating an estimated $42,500 a year.
Bayou Mallet Gravity Drainage District proposition
To renew a 10-year, 5.04-mill property tax, generating an estimated $100,000 a year.
Fire Protection District 5 proposition
To renew a 10-year, 4.80-mill property tax, generating an estimated $67,000 a year. (Mermentau and Estherwood areas.)

Parishwide School District proposition
To issue up to $100 million in 20-year bonds, repayable by extending existing property taxes, for school construction projects.
Road Lighting District No. 4 proposition
To collect for 10 years a service fee of $25 a year on each residential structure, estimated to generate $17,000 a year, and $100 a year on each commercial structure, estimated to generate $3,300 a year. (Port Barrow area in Donaldsonville.)
East Baton Rouge Parish
Melrose Place Crime Prevention District proposition
To collect annually for 10 years a $150 fee for residential parcels and a $750 fee for commercial parcels, together estimated to generate $60,000 a year. The fee may be increased by not more than 10 percent per year, up to a maximum of $200 a year for residential parcels and $1,000 a year for commercial parcels, to meet increased costs of services.
EVANGELINE PARISH
Eunice Gravity Drainage District No. 9 proposition
To renew a 10-year, 3.57-mill property tax, generating an estimated $45,000 a year. (Evangeline and St. Landry parishes.)
IBERIA PARISH
Parish Council Home Rule Charter amendments
PROPOSITION 1
To provide that the annual compensation of council members be the average of the annual compensation of council members in St. Martin, St. Mary, Vermilion and Lafayette parishes, to be adjusted in every odd-numbered year after 2011.
PROPOSITION 2
To eliminate the need of the parish president to provide written, published reasons for a veto. The parish president has three options when presented with legislation, having 10 days to: return with his or her signature of approval; veto it, with or without stated reasons; or allow it to become law without his or her signature.
PROPOSITION 3
To establish that employment in parish government is “employment at-will” and not subject to the provisions of a classified personnel system.
PROPOSITION 4
To clarify Paragraph B regarding appointment of minorities to boards and commissions and to remove Paragraph F, which establishes term limits. Applies only to advisory boards and commissions created under the parish, not those created by state law.
PROPOSITION 5
To provide that no special assessment for improvements shall be imposed upon property owners, except by their request by petition, in accordance with state law or court order.
Parishwide School District propositions
PROPOSITION 1
To issue up to $60 million in 20-year general obligation bonds, repayable by property taxes, for capital improvements for school facilities, technology and security initiatives set forth in the plan approved by the School Board on June 17.
PROPOSITION 2
To renew a 10-year, 6.23-mill property tax, generating an estimated $2.7 million a year, for school system operations and maintenance.
Twin Parish Port District proposition
To levy a 10-year, 4-mill property tax — expected to generate $85,000 a year from Iberia Parish and $157,000 a year from Vermilion Parish — to maintain and operate an industrial park, waterfront development and community redevelopment projects, and to levy a 10-year 1-mill property tax — expected to generate $21,000 a year from Iberia Parish and $39,000 a year from Vermilion Parish — for the port district’s general fund.
LIVINGSTON PARISH
Fire Protection District 2 proposition
To renew a 10-year, 10-mill property tax, generating an estimated $250,000 a year. (Springfield, Maurepas and Killian areas.)
Fire Protection District 11 proposition
To continue a 10-year, 10-mill property tax, generating an estimated $13,000 a year. (Northeast area of the parish.)

To continue a 10-year, 2.99-mill property tax, generating an estimated $57,000 a year. (Northern portion of the parish.)

PROPOSITION 1
To renew a 10-year, 3.69-mill property tax, generating an estimated $74,000 a year for maintenance and operations.
PROPOSITION 2
To renew a 10-year, 1.31-mill property tax, generating $26,000 a year in additional funds for equipment and maintenance.

PROPOSITION 1
To renew a 10-year, 2.97-mill property tax, generating $161,000 a year for operations.

To renew a 10-year, 3-mill property tax, generating $162,000 a year in additional funds for equipment and maintenance.

To renew a 20-year, 1-mill property tax, generating an estimated $400,000 a year, to operate and maintain a youth center and providing programs for children who enter the juvenile justice system or who are in need of care or supervision.
