| A point guard, Chatman was named a Kodak All-American when she led the Lady Tigers to the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 in 1991. She joined Sue Gunter’s staff as a student assistant in 1992. |
| Chatman, who subbed for Gunter when the legendary coach became ill midway during the 2004-05 season, has coached in three consecutive Final Fours.She won 47 of her first 50 games, the second best record after 50 games as coach in NCAA history. |
