GRAMERCY — Narcotics agents arrested two men on drug distribution counts after 22 pounds of marijuana was delivered to them as part of a two-week drug investigation, Louisiana State Police reported Thursday.

Florentino A. Salinas, 24, and Victor Gutierrez Franco, 21, both of 608 Airline Highway, Gramercy, were arrested and booked into the St. James Parish Jail Wednesday on possession with intent to distribute marijuana and cocaine, troopers said in a statement.

Working with the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office, State Police agents executed a search warrant on the Airline Highway residence after orchestrating the drug delivery, troopers said.

During the search, agents also reported finding drug paraphernalia, drug distribution equipment, 14 grams of cocaine, another pound of marijuana and six dosages of Lortab.
