State inmate walks off work-release job

A state prison inmate assigned to a work-release program operated by the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office is being sought by authorities after he walked off his job Thursday.
Paul Arbunot, 28, who had less than a year remaining on a sentence for simple burglary, clocked in Thursday morning at his job site on Choctaw Drive in Baton Rouge but left a short time later, said Paul Perkins of Louisiana Work Force LLC, the company that manages work-release programs for a number of sheriffs.
