Burglars surprised in judge’s residence
Police arrested a woman and are looking for two men in the burglary of a judge’s home, court documents show.
The burglary occurred around 10 p.m. June 27 in the 4500 block of Whitehaven Street, an affidavit of probable cause says.
The burglars were still rummaging through the house when the judge returned, the affidavit says. It is unclear if anything was taken.
Police are looking for Michael Anthony Collis, 22, and Nicholas Allen Manning, 20, said Sgt. Don Kelly, a spokesman with the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Both men are from Idaho, Kelly said. Detectives believe the men have fled Baton Rouge and are involved in additional burglaries in the area, he said.
Emily White, 18, of Lewiston, Idaho, was booked into Parish Prison on Thursday on a count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling in the incident, booking records show.
