New museum to open
The grand opening of the Tangipahoa African-American Heritage Center will be held at 3 p.m. Feb. 11.
LOCATION: 1600 Phoenix Square, Hammond.
HOURS OPEN: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
ADMISSION: $3 for children and seniors and $5 for adults.
