Jindal unconcerned about Palin choice
Gov. Bobby Jindal said he’s not one of the Republicans wondering what the abrupt resignation of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin means for the presidential aspirations of the many frequently named possible GOP candidates.
“I’ll leave that to the pundits,” Jindal said Monday. “I take her at her word. She says she wants to make a difference outside her office and I look forward to seeing how she intends to do that.”
Jindal said Palin’s resignation doesn’t change his plans to run for re-election in 2011 and to serve a second term as Louisiana’s governor.
