Jones Creek Hi Nabor store robbed

Two men stole a bag of cash from the Hi Nabor grocery store on Jones Creek Road this morning.

Casey Rayborn Hicks, a spokeswoman for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, said the men entered the store at 5383 Jones Creek Road around 7:48 a.m. and jumped over the counter and took a bank bag containing cash.

The men then ran out of the store into the Blockbuster parking lot at 15200 George O’Neal Lane and got into a older model gray four-door vehicle and left the area, Hicks said.
