Today

Hammond

LIGHT UP THE SKY ON THE 2ND OF JULY: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Zemurray Park, with fireworks at dark.

Friday

Baton Rouge

KENILWORTH’S FOURTH OF JULY PARADE: 6:30 p.m. beginning at Kenilworth Middle School. DeDe Breaux is grand marshal.

Clinton

RED, WHITE AND BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL: 7 p.m., downtown, street dance with music by United We Stand Band; 8:30 p.m. patriotic program at the bandstand next to Clinton Drugs and fireworks at the Landmark ATM parking lot.

Donaldsonville

FIREWORKS ON THE RIVER: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Crescent Park, music by Water’s Edge and Mojeaux, food for sale and fireworks display overlooking Mississippi River. No ice chests
