I-10 road work near Henderson complete

HENDERSON — Road work that had tied up traffic on Interstate 10 westbound since June 15 is complete, the state Department of Transportation and Development announced Monday.

The emergency road work forced the reduction of I-10 to one lane in the area of the Henderson exit in St. Martin Parish.

Road crews completed the work Sunday, two days ahead of schedule, according to DOTD.
