Man removed from mobile home after threat
TANGIPAHOA — Deputies had to remove a man Tuesday night from a mobile home he had threatened to set afire, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday.
Marcus Kagley, 36, 71007 Pittman Road, Kentwood, was arrested and booked with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, two counts of resisting an officer and violating a protective order, deputies said in a statement.
The owner of the mobile home, who had obtained a protective order against Kagley, told deputies Kagley had threatened in the past to burn it down, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies found Kagley in the mobile home near Purvis’ Bar on La. 440 in the village of Tangipahoa around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Neighbors complained of a flickering light inside the mobile home when no one was supposed to be inside, deputies said.
Kagley was hiding under the bed and deputies had to remove the bed to get Kagley out, the Sheriff’s Office said.
