Columbine survivor to speak at program
THIBODAUX — Craig Scott, a survivor of the Columbine High School shooting in Colorado that left 15 people dead and more than 20 wounded, will give the keynote address at the Louisiana Girls’ Leadership Academy at Nicholls State University on June 18.
Sponsored by the Louisiana Center for Women and Government, the program is for girls entering the eighth through 11th grades.
Admission to the closing reception of the three-day program, where Scott will speak, is $15.
The closing reception at the Bollinger Memorial Student Union begins at 3:30 p.m.
