Livingston deputies raid 3 meth labs, arrest five

LIVINGSTON — Livingston Parish sheriff’s narcotics agents raided three methamphetamine labs, arrested five people and were seeking others implicated in investigations of the labs, deputies said Friday.

An anonymous tip led agents to 23911 Walker South Road, Denham Springs, late Tuesday where they found Richard Wayne McManus, 56, of the same address, operating a methamphetamine lab, deputies said in a statement.

That arrest led agents to a lab at 12430 Bryant St., Denham Springs, early Wednesday and the arrest of James B. McManus, 43, also of the same address, deputies said. James McManus is Richard McManus’ nephew, deputies said.

On Wednesday, agents arrested three more people in connection with an unrelated methamphetamine lab at 8219 Lockhart Road, Denham Springs, deputies said.

Richard McManus was booked with possession of Schedule II drugs (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and creation/operation of a methamphetamine lab, deputies said. His bond was set at $250,000.

James McManus was booked with possession of drug paraphernalia and creation/operation of a methamphetamine lab, deputies said. His bond was set at $500,500.

Terry P. Comeaux, 33, 8219 Lockhart Road, Denham Springs, was booked on criminal counts of creation/operation of a methamphetamine lab, manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer, deputies said.

His bond was set at $1,001,000 with a hold for a violation of probation and parole, deputies said.

Bradford S. Fitzpatrick, 35, 1989 Fern St., Denham Springs, was booked with possession of Schedule II drugs (hydrocodone), creation/operation of a methamphetamine lab, possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture of methamphetamine, deputies said.

His bond was set at $1,500,500, deputies said.

Tiffany L. Landry, 29, 8221 Lockhart Road, Denham Springs, was booked on counts of creation/operation of a methamphetamine lab, manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, deputies said.

Her bond was set at $1,500,500, deputies said.
