LIVINGSTON — Livingston Parish sheriff’s deputies said this afternoon they are looking for two suspects in a string of thefts in the Maurepas and French Settlement areas.

Danny Wade Melton, 38, and Rebecca Arcediano, 27, are believed to be driving a dark-blue 2003 Ford F-150 extended cab pickup with a broken side glass and extensive damage to the driver’s-side body, deputies said in a statement today.

The duo live in the truck and are known to frequent illegal narcotics trafficking areas, deputies said. Active warrants for them range from felony theft to criminal damage to property, deputies said.

The truck may have a Mississippi license plate, deputies said.

Melton is a white man, 5 feet  10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, deputies said.

Arcediano is a white woman who is 5 feet tall, weighs 95 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes with tattoos on her back, right leg and left foot. She has lost about 40 pounds since a sheriff’s photo was taken.

Anyone with information about Melton and  Arcediano is asked to call the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, (225) 686-2241 or Crimestoppers at (225) 344-7867.
