A 46-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday by a woman he allegedly forced to live in a clapboard house on Old Perkins Road, a spokeswoman with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s said.

Allison L. Jackson of 13636 Airline Highway was killed about 10:30 p.m. inside the clapboard house at 17100 E. Old Perkins Road, Casey Rayborn Hicks said.

The shooting occurred during a fight between Jackson and the woman living at the house, Hicks said. The woman, whose name was not released, was beaten during the fight and feared for her life.

No one was arrested in the shooting and no arrests are expected based on the Sheriff’s Office’s initial investigation, Hicks said.
