NEW ROADS — Pointe Coupee Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested a Glynn man Thursday on suspicion of drug and firearms violations.
Capt. Brett Robillard said sheriff’s deputies obtained a search warrant Thursday morning for a residence at 4958 Arbroth Road in Glynn.
Inside the home, deputies arrested Nathaniel Davis III, 41, after finding $15,000 in cash stored in an attic safe, 3.5 ounces of cocaine, marijuana and two pistols, Robillard said.
Davis was booked on one count each of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and illegal possession of a firearm in conjunction with a controlled dangerous substance, Robillard said.
Davis, a resident of the Arbroth Road home, was booked into the Pointe Coupee Parish Detention Center Thursday evening, Robillard said.
