Tangipahoa Parish traffic stop leads to drug, weapons counts
HAMMOND — Deputies booked a Washington Parish man Thursday on illegal drug and firearms counts after stopping him for speeding, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office reported.
Deputies confiscated two handguns and four plastic bags believed to contain marijuana, according to a news release.
Deputies booked Tierre Ramsey, 30 37047 Tom Cryer Road, Mount Hermon, with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, aggravated battery and traffic violations, deputies said.
