RACELAND — The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating whoever heaved cinder blocks through a patrol car’s windshield.

The damage was caused late Friday or early Saturday in the 300 block of Triple Oaks in Raceland, sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. Lesley Hill Peters said in a news release.

The marked sheriff’s unit was parked at a deputy’s residence at the time, she said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Lafourche Parish Crime Stoppers at (800) 743-7433.
