Holden to address forum at Harvard
Mayor-President Kip Holden will address a forum at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government this week to discuss how cities can stimulate local economies during uncertain times, a news release says.
The forum is being held in conjunction with the school’s ninth annual Richard J. Phelps City Fair, Harvard’s only networking and job fair focused exclusively on careers in local government for students from Harvard’s Kennedy School and Graduate School of Design.
Holden will attend a special networking dinner following the forum to meet with Harvard faculty and students interested in connecting with city government and city-related organizations.
The John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum is Harvard’s premier arena for political speech and debate and regularly features addresses by major world leaders, heads of state and elected officials.
