Police seek shooter of 15-year-old boy
A 15-year-old boy was shot multiple times Sunday morning and authorities are searching for the shooter, police said in a news release.
The shooting occurred at the intersection of St. Katherine Avenue and Enterprise Street around 3 a.m., police Lt. Charles Armstrong said in the news release.
Witnesses told police that a man riding a bicycle and wearing black clothing with a hood covering his head approached the victim and pulled out a handgun, Armstrong said.
The victim was shot multiple times and the shooter fled, he said.
Family members of the victim took him to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition as of Sunday afternoon, Armstrong said.

Authorities arrest 3 on suspicion of DWI
Authorities arrested at least three people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 3 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them are:
- Jamie Marie Cummings, 33, 9506 Jefferson Highway Apt. No. 5, second-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle and equipment violation.
- Rachel Elizabeth Whiteside, 25, 18311 Muddy Creek Road, Prairieville, first-offense DWI, speeding and open-container violation.
- Gregory Alan Sandifer, 39, 8939 Jefferson Highway, first-offense DWI, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and open-container violation.
Police ID suspect in Friday night slaying
Police have identified the man they believe is responsible for the Friday slaying of Colt Rivet, police spokesman Lt. Charles Armstrong said.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Marlon Jackson, 33, 1866 Arizona St.
