Task force arrests 3 on drug counts

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office drug task force arrested three people and confiscated a variety of drugs and weapons at the conclusion of a month-long investigation, Sheriff Craig Webre said Tuesday in a news release.

Those arrested and the counts against them are:
  • Jeremy Marshall 20, 117 E. 138th St., Galliano, possession with intent to distribute Ecstasy and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance. Bond was set at $500,000.
  • Joshua Cauley, 20, 16932 W. Main St., Apt. 26, Cut Off, distribution of Ecstasy and marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile and possession with intent to distribute LSD and contempt of court. Bond was set at $100,500.
  • Desiree Pitre, 22, 16932 W. Main St., Apt. 26, Cut Off, principal to distribute Ecstasy and marijuana and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $12,000.
