Walker man dies in wreck
A Walker man died Sunday morning in a single vehicle accident in Livingston Parish, Louisiana State Police Trooper Russell Graham said in a news release.
Jordan C. Manow, 22, and Joshua Sibley, 23, Walker, were eastbound on La. 1019 east of La. 447 around 3:45 a.m., Graham said.
Manow was driving his 1989 Chevrolet pickup when it left the road and traveled more 200 feet, Graham said.
The truck then returned to the road where it rolled over several times before coming to a stop, Graham said.
Manow, who was not wearing his seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle, Graham said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Graham said.
Sibley was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries, Graham said.
Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash, he said.
